The free podcast app from Apple is simply called Podcasts. I use it all the time, and I find it very good: in fact, I like it so much that I have never even tried any of the paid podcast apps for i-devices. Apples Podcasts app is also very accessible, which is definitely a good thing.

Their is a app called podcast that is in the app store that is developed by apple.

I know that you asked for free apps, but for the sake of a couple of dollars I think that you should really consider either Downcast or iCatcher. Both are extremely accessible and offer far more features than Apple's free offering.
