Focus Jumping

Hello everybody,
My iphone with Ios14 stopped working and I bought a new one with ios 16.1.
Sometimes thought the focus jumps back on the beginning on Safari. I haven't heard many good things about Ios 17 but from your experience is the focus jumping issue any better in ios 17? Does it only happen in Safari? Does it happen with other browsers? What is your experience?
Thank you very much and have a great day.

My experience with VoiceOver focus jumping around has remained about the same on iOS 17. It's just as "jumpy" as it's ever been for me, with no clear pattern that I can discern.

The focus jumps seem to happen randomly across the operating system and apps. The only slight pattern I've noticed is that if it's going to jump, it tends to happen shortly after I navigate to a new screen or page. But there's no predicting where the focus will jump to.

So in my experience with iOS 17, the VoiceOver focus issue does not seem significantly better or worse. I wish I had better news for you.

My iPhone 15 Pro came with IOS 17. No focus jumping, thank God! On my old 10s with IO
S 16, it was driving me nuts.

@Bruce Harrell, @Cobbler thank you very much for your replies. When you opened a folder with Ios 14 or 15 the voice over used to read always the first icon on the left. Now with Ios 16 sometimes the first icon you hear is in the middle, sometimes it is the most right one. Does this have to do with the focus jumping issue or it's something entirely different? Do you also experience it? Thank you.

I don't have any focus jumping problems in IOS 17 on my iPhone 15 pro that I'm aware of.
