Hi All,
I have an iPhone 6, am on the latest iOS and use the latest version of Spotify for iOS - V2.9.0.
I've been having issues with the app for the past fortnight or so and was wondering if anyone else had a similar complaint.
I'm noticing that Voiceover doesn't focus as well as it used to when interacting with Spotify on the phone. My main issue is in actually playing the song I want from an album or playlist. I often find that when I swipe to a song, hear its title and perform a double tap, a completely different song plays.
This happens quite frequently, both when I swipe right from the top of a list of tracks and also when I scroll up or down with three fingers to try and get to a song in an extremely long list.
It seems that Voiceover can't keep up with my movements around the screen and thus is delayed and ends up playing a song located on the screen quite a distance from where I think I am, judging by the Voiceover feedback.
Has anyone else had similar issues with Voiceover focusing or can explain why the correct song often doesn't play?
I'd really appreciate any help anyone could give.
Thanks,
Claire.

Try pressing the context menu
Try pressing the context menu button too the right of the current song. Add the song too the play cue and play from the playback window.
playlist focusing problem
I experienced this problem while trying to look at my playlists on spotify.
I could read the list for a bit until I'd get kncked to the end of it.
If I tried reading from the bottom, I noticed I'd skip over entries or see many repeats which I knew were not present.
I've seen this behavior using google play music and other apps as well.
