Hi listers.

Is there a app for a fm radio that use to work like the old nokia phones that doesn't use data and you use your earphones as the aerial.
I was at a race track today where they have their own freequency and you tune in with your radio.
None of the radio apps on my phone found the band, and I would prefer it not to use my data.
Please let me know if anyone here knows of any app that might help.
Kind regards,

Gary.

they call that sdr now--software defined radio.
I do not know for a fact but I bet it does exist.
Now whether it is accessible I don't know.

no, because in those older iphones that had the ability, apple refused to unlock the feature. and the newest ones, the chips do not have fm radio abilities at all. so no matter what software you have, you won't be able to do so. you're out of luck unfortunately. if you want that sort of ability, you need to use a cheap android device. they still do have the feature most of the time.
