Hello AppleVis Comunity!
I have a bit of a rather annoying issue I hope you guys can help me figure out. I'm running the latest version of Facebook on my ipad mini 4, which has the latest version of ios. The problem I'm having is that anytime I go to someone's page to try & send them a friend request on Facebook, I can't see the button to do so! The only way I can even send requests, is if I have a sighted person do it for me. Is there a way that I can send friend requests independently again? Thanks in advance for any help!

hi, after a lot of messing around, i think i have it figured out. no, from the profile page itself, you can't do it. you'll have to do a search, hope you find the one and only person you're looking for, and where it has their image, name, and possibly mutual friends, there is an add friend request button. you need to select that button. now the problem is, it will not tell you it's done anything. the button won't change or anything. but i've done it, and checked via the website and going to sent friend requests, and it appears to have done it. it's so anoying how they've done this one. they need to set this up better. because what if you link to the persons profile from somebody elses post or something, .... too bad. can't add them from there. at least, i can't see a way, and the facebook help files only show the searching way. ugh. hope that helps though.

Thanks. I agree with you on that one. I liked the way they had it set up before because you could do it the way I described! But then they had to go in & freaking change it... sigh
