So, I'm not in a situation where I now need to do this, thank god, as much as this is more just an FYI question I have out of curiosity.
My 15 Pro Max is the first iPhone I've ever had which used an Esim, so I'm a little unfamiliar with this. I'm on Verizon Wireless. What I'm wondering is, God forbid, let's say I had to for one reason or another factory reset my phone. Yes, I do have an iCloud backup. That said, regardless if I did or didn't, how would that effect my phone's activation? In other words, would my Esim get deleted making me have to call Verizon to get them to reactivate the Esim after the phone successfully reset itself? I'd like this question answered both from the standpoint of me having a backup, as well as me not having one. I didn't know if since the phone's IMEI is provisioned on my Verizon account, would the Esim just come back down after the reset, and reactivate, or would I be S O L until I gave them a call. Apple told me it wouldn't remove the ability for me to get service back up and going on my own without Verizon's help, but I just wanted to get a 2nd opinion.
