Exercise app says "slide to end" - How do I do this?

Hello everyone. I know I haven't been posting here for quite some time. I got my first iPhone a year ago, and even though I said I'd be posting a lot of questions, I didn't post on here as much as I thought I would. But now I've run into a litle problem.

Lately, I've actually been motivated to get moving and exercising! Shocking! Anyway, I have this exercise app called PlayFit. I start an exercise, squats, for example, and double-tap where it says (I'm ready". Then it starts detecting my movements. The problem is: it says "slide to end," which I assume means you have to slide your finger when you are finished with the exercise. I take this to mean the same thing as a sighted person would do when the phone says "slide to answer" for a call. But I don't know how I'm supposed to do this, in order to tell the app I'm done exercising. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would try a double tap and hold. When you hear the sound, slide right a bit then let go. It's how you can use those controls other places.

I tried that several times and it didn't seem to work. But I don't know; I could be doing something wrong.

I'm currently using intervals, which is free, but there are others you can try.
