When ever I get an email that has an attachment whether it is DOC or PDF. I have a hard time opening them. I can usually send them to an app like VoiceStream or K in FB reader. But that's only if I can open the app I mean, the document.Once I go into mail find the email that I want and find the attachment that I want and double tap on it it is a dice roll as to what happens sometimes, it will open it and then I can go out of it do a double tap and hold and find other apps to download it to if that's not the caseI'm not able to read the document at all whether I double tap and hold or not. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I have some very important documents that need to be read. Note, these are all DOC documents.I know they say PDF doesn't work sometimes but you should at least be able to download it or export it to another app of some kind I'm not even able to do that with my DOC documents

This is a result of a known bug in iOS 8, where the page doesn’t automatically scroll to follow the movement of VoiceOver focus. This makes it possible for focus to go beyond what is actually being visually displayed on the screen. Once this happens, you may find it difficult to interact with actionable elements or controls. The only workaround is to use the 3-finger swipe up/down to move what is being displayed on screen until you are able to locate the desired element by touch.

The reason that you are finding this behaviour inconsistent, is that on short email messages the attachment will still be visible on screen. As the message body gets longer, the more likely it is that the attachment will be bumped off the bottom of the screen.
