Hi friends, how's it going?
For some time now, with a few iOS versions, I've noticed a problem with Eloquence voices.
Those who use and are familiar with it know that the synthesizer has different sampling rates depending on the platform or context. The most common sampling rates are 11 kHz, which tends to be more open and is the voice's default, and 16 kHz, less common, more closed and sibilant, which is my preference.
However, no matter what I try, switching between sampling rates has no effect; Eloquence always remains at 16 kHz, the higher rate. This isn't always a problem for me, but I sometimes like to switch to the default rate because it's easier to hear, especially in noisy environments.
Eloquence users: have you been experiencing this problem?
Thank you very much for your attention...

Same here on my 15 Pro. But if you restart VoiceOver after changing Sample rate it will change. Report to Apple.
RE: same here
Yes, I've already reported the situation to Apple, I hope they fix it… thank you very much for the tip.
Same thing on my iPhone SE third generation
I just tested it on my iPhone SE third generation with the eloquence US Eddie Voice. You’re right the sample rate doesn’t change even if you toggle the setting. I don’t normally use eloquence, but I wanted to test this just to see if I could reproduce. It’s definitely a bug. It’s good that you guys reported it to Apple. I don’t normally use eloquence so that’s not an issue for me, but I just wanted to see if it was can reproduce. Hopefully they’ll fix it by soon.
