Does this bug exist only in iphone five?

Hi all. I've noticed this behavior in mail also in messages. When you're in the inbox, or list of messages, you are automatically in the Actions value so swiping up or down should land on the delete, option. Say I have three messages, two i want to delete. First one, no problem. second, seems to place the roter in another value. Maybe heading, maybe paragraph, audio ducking, too. Is this something anyone on a newer iPhone can confirm? I wasn't sure if it was just me.

I have been deleting mail and messages this week, and it seems to work fine for me on my 5S. It's a bit slow in responding sometimes, but after deleting one item and flicking to the right, flicking up gives me delete again just like the previous one.

This will sound a bit patronising, and I really don't mean it to be, but is it possible that something is touching another part of the screen as you flick to the next item? It might be interpreting that as a rota command? you've probably already checked that, but I thought I'd ask.

I've never seen that bug myself. I'm using a 5C and I've not had that happen to me, at least not yet. I've seen a few things, but it'd be kind of off topic to mention them here, as they have more to do with a bluetooth keyboard sometimes playing up.

Hi David. You weren't patronizing, but thank you for making sure. Because of course we both know pc, Mac, a screen reader doesn't tend to be nice. Anyway I'm ninety nine percent sure it isn't me doing something wrong. I just don't understand why an older iphone does this. Of course, now is when I try to get longevity out of my five, but I may have to upgrade. This is not a huge problem just an annoying one.

Hi,
The bad news : I have an iPhone5, running the latest IOS and have not encountered this problem. I have recently spent some travel down time clearing out old emails and messages without issue.
The Good News: There's till some life in that old 5 yet...

Have a happy day.

Yes, I see it a bit and I'm using an iPhone 6 and IOS 8.3; think it's a bug in the softwear version.

I haven't seen this, but will keep a lookout.

I'm using an iPhone 5 and generally haven't encountered this "feature". when it *does* happen, I find that I've done something that might make VoiceOver think that I wasn't just trying to delete a message, as, for example, when wanting to spel out character-by-character something on the message line.
