Over the past few days I have been playing around with the Gboard and SwiftKey keyboards.
There's things that I like about each - in particular emoji searching. However, each also has a few things that I don't like - in particular being ‘busier’ than the native iOS keyboard.
I'm currently wondering if this is one of those occasions where I simply need to bite the bullet - disable the native keyboard and use one of these as my default.
I was wondering if anybody else already does this. And, if so, what you experiences have been?
Or are there other 3rd party keyboards that you would recommend (not FlickType, which I am already aware of).

I did not know you could search for emojis on there. Is it the google keyboard you are talking about? I would not delete all keyboards because I don't think it would work for me but you could try. Can you tell me how to search emojis?w

Both of the keyboards that I mention and link to offer the ability to search for emoji. This is probably the main reason that I have been exploring alternative keyboards, as the native emoji keyboard is desperately in need of a search facility.
Flick Type
I use Flick Type as my primary keyboard for texting and the native email app. I don't like how it works with the GMail app, or a couple other places, so for them, I use the stock keyboard. Fortunately, for the most part, the phone remembers which I like with a particular app.

So currently I am using mBraille and the stock keyboard with BSI in combination.
