disturbing vibration of VoiceOver

I've just bought a new iPhone 11 to replace my SE and found that VoiceOver vibration is extremely disturbing!!!
Who fxxking thinks out this kind of alert for users with normal hearing?
Ok, you think that it's well designed for the visually impaired.
But why doesn't the VO rotor include the control of vibration???
It's very ridiculous that sounds of VO can be turned on / off via rotor but vibration cannot!
It vibrates after my every move... It makes me think of some kinds of s*x toy!

To be honest, my friends and I are now getting more and more disappointed with apple.
What the meaning for us to spend much more money for a huge-screen phone in such a saturated market?
VO was definitely better than talkBack several years ago.
But now???

Sigh...
I should seriously considering switch to Android.

Hello. Personally, I like the haptic feedback but here's how to turn it off. Go to settings, then sounds and haptics. Turn off where it says system interactions or something like that. That will globally set it so only the phone should vibrate when you get a notification or a call. As I said, I turned all the clicky sounds off, and like the interaction of the other vibrations. also remember that your iPhone se didn't have this because it was an old phone which didn't support it. Hope you eventually decide to like the vibration as it's very useful in crowded environments. Hope i helped.

Hi. As I said, personally I like the haptic but it was a change at first. It's a little more difficult to feel them as I have a thick rubber and plastic case. I'm also not one for having my speech up loud where everyone can hear it, or am I the one who likes the attention I already get as the wow you can use that? :) anyway as I said, the haptic is a discrete way of texting, or doing things faster than if I had my clicks on and all that. :) But I'd say that was a change from the SE to the 11 would surprise some but the Sex toy refference? lmao sorry but? lmao

Hi,
Don't forget you can also custom the vibrations for different things. I don't have them on for everything but just for certain gestures etc.

Yes, this happened to me, and I did not want the haptics. I therefore went into Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Audio > sounds and haptics and turned off haptics. I also turned off slide to type so that I could, at need, use the QWERTY keepboard.

I'm a Talkback user saving up for the next iPhone. I can tell you right now that Voiceover is still objectively better than Talkback. You'll get along fine with Android but it's a jarring experience compared to iOS. It's much, much, much better now on Android 7.0 and above but it still lags behind VO. Oh and if you use an Apple Watch or a Braille display then forget about it. WearOS and Brailleback can't hold a candle to their Apple counterparts.

Regarding haptics going crazy, it's not that, it's just that we have more control than we did before.

iOS 13 introduced many new Voiceover specific features and one of these is the additional haptics controls. Because you updated to a brand new phone, you are noticing much more vibrations than on your previous phone. This is because your new device has a better haptic engine and the software also does much more. The nice thing is that all of this can be customized with just a little time.

Go to settings, Accessibility, Voiceover, Audio, Sounds and Haptics. Under the Haptics heading, you can disable all haptic feedback or customize this feature one at a time. I suggest adjusting one item and then use the phone for a bit to see what each one does. I have many disabled but I really rely on those that I have enabled.

I hope that this helps you to adjust to your new iPhone. Enjoy.

Thanks for the above help and comments.
I was getting crazy so sorry for my over emotional reaction first lol

Let me conclude all settings of haptics:
The one I'm asking about. The button is called "sounds and haptics", inside "audio" of VO settings. the name of the button is the same as that for ringtones located in the first page of settings. That's why I didn't recognize it and thought that it was the setting for ringtone. So, Apple please rename it.

The one at the first page of settings is also called "sounds and haptics". It's used to control the volume of ringtone and alerts, with the system haptics setting at the bottom. System haptics means the vibration of system by default, like the one appears when switching from Ring mode to Silent mode.

And the third one I found is at the Mobility under accessibility settings. All of the haptics can be turned off here, including when call comes. lol

And finally, not all VO haptics can be turned off.
The one when I swipe can be turned off but the haptics when I tap the elements can not be turned off.
It's better than before whatever.
The frequent vibration stops at least.
