I am looking for guidance on navigating books on the kindle iPhone app.
I have not used the kindle app on my iPhone for at least 3 years. Back then I do not remember having any access issues with the kindle app.
I just downloaded a book today. When I opened the book all I got was a message that said “image”. I tapped on the screen and I got options like copy, notes, ets. The only way I could get out of that screen was to go line by line to the bottom of the section.
I looked up accessibility for the kindle iphone app and the latest article was 2013. Anyone have any directions for using the kindle iPhone app? I know I can read using my Echo devices, but I like reading on my iPhone and the kindle app like Audible and BARD are much easier to use.

Things to Check
Hi Dennis
I am not facing such issues at my end. However, it is possible that the book you are trying to access does not have screen reader support, or it may not have enhanced typesetting enabled. You may check these factors under the product details section of the book on the Amazon website.
Also, just in case, do see if the screen recognition feature of Voiceover is turned on for Kindle app. If so, turn it off.
Finally, deleting and reinstalling the app sometimes fix such troubles.
HTH.
