Many of the items in my pantry that I routinely need to identify aren't listed in the databases of barcode scanner apps, so I am thinking about spending some time adding them manually.
One app that supports this feature - and one that I already own - is Digit-Eyes. However, it hasn't been updated for more than 4 years. I don't want to spend time on this project only to find that the app I have used is broken by a change in a future iOS update and the developer isn't active to resolve it. So, does anybody know if there is any life at Digit-Eyes, or has it effectively been abandoned?
If anybody has recommendations for another barcode scanner that allows you to add barcodes manually, this would also be good to hear.

I'm think nit is. It's a shame ai bought eapp in 2010, and now I can't get a efund for all ofhte abandoned apps.
I still use Digit-Eyes.
I still use Digit-Eyes and also Seeing AI. But what I like about Digit-Eyes is that once it identifies the bar code, under the more info heading, I can get all of the nutritional information as well as all of the ingredients. I can't always find all of that information on Seeing AI.
