I have a student who has been independently using an iPad with VoiceOver to complete classroom assignments in the Pages app. Upon returning to school this year, the VoiceOver cursor is getting "stuck". We cannot move left or right with the arrows, the cursor will jump around when typing and creating and especially editing a document is virtually impossible. The navigation problems persist whether using the Bluetooth keyboard or on screen gestures.The rotor is also not responding appropriatey, such as we are unable to navigate by character when swiping up and down when the rotor is set to character. We have restarted the iPad multiple times. We have also put new batteries in the keyboard and re"paired" the devices. I've been told we may need to do a "restore"? I did just update to the most recent version of iOS 8.4. Any suggestions before we go to the extent of restoring?

Have you tried reinstalling pages? Sometimes that works. Let me know if that works. Thanks.

I have communicated with someone on another forum that has had similar issues and switched to a different word processing app. Does anyone have a favorite that is similar to Pages and works well with VoiceOver? We will attempt to reinstall, but I don't get back to that school for a few days, so it may be a loooonnnng process.
