Is it possible to use dictation in iOS to include an emoji in a text message?

Thanks.

Hi!!
I wouldn't recommend it. You could put a smiley face, but all you'll get is: :)

Plus, in my experience, if I say the emoji I want, for example: face with heart-shaped eyes, it will put the words. And not the emoji. Your best bet, is to stop dictation at any point where you want to put a emoji. Then resumme dictating. I wish you could too.

Hi,

I know that with SIRI, as opposed to dictation, you can say "Smilie", "winky" or "Frowny" and you will get the corresponding Emoticon.
I have also heard that you can use the Keyboard Shortcuts Menu to insert EMOJI via dictation. Never tried myself, but in Settings/General/Keyboards you can edit a phrase and match it to an EMOJI.
Maybe a hard-core EMOJI user might try and report back for you...

I don't even try to dictate anymore, as it's horrible under iOS. Not even worth my time anymore. I personally find, Braille screen input to be a much quicker way of inputting things. However emogies still won't work. You need to go in to the emogie keyboard and find the one you want. Sure it takes time... but it's the only way I've found to get them into texts.
