Hello AppleVis Community,
My name is Tray, and I’m a developer at CreatorTray LLC. I’m excited to share a project I’ve been building called Scriptate, and I’m specifically looking for feedback from this community to ensure it meets the highest accessibility standards.
What is Scriptate?
Scriptate is an audio cue card and teleprompter app designed for content creators and public speakers. Unlike traditional visual prompters, Scriptate is built around an audio-first workflow, allowing you to manage and hear your script while you speak.
Key Features:
• Flexible Import: Type your script directly, paste text, or import from various document formats.
• Smart Segmentation: The app automatically breaks your script into manageable lines or paragraphs.
• AI-Powered Cues: Utilizing Apple Intelligence and custom logic, Scriptate generates editable cues to keep your delivery on track.
• Native Text-to-Speech: Uses Apple’s native TTS engines to play your lines and navigate your script.
• Intuitive Navigation: Designed to let you play lines and jump between cues easily during a recording or presentation.
Transparency & Future Development
I want to be fully transparent about the process: the foundation of Scriptate was built with the help of an AI coding assistant. Because of this, my top priority is ensuring the code is robust and the accessibility is seamless.
The app offers a 7-day free trial followed by a $20 one-time purchase. I’ve chosen this model because I intend to use the proceeds to hire a professional developer for a full code audit. I want to ensure that Scriptate isn't just "functional," but a high-quality, reliable tool for the long haul.
How You Can Help
I am looking for your honest thoughts on the VoiceOver experience and the general app flow. If there are gestures or navigation improvements that would make your workflow better, I want to hear them.

Thank you for your time and for all the work this community does to push accessibility forward.
