I am a new owner of a iPhone 12. I had a 6s before. I am used to pressing down harder on the delete button to delete text quickly. This is not possible anymore I don't think. So is there a quick way to do this now?

Yes, you double tap and hold, and it'll delete like it used to. I miss the old way, but at least there's still something.
