Hi! I didn't work out how to remove songs from playlists on IOS until I got IOS 11, but here is the method I use to do that, and I hope that the IOS 10 method is either the same or very similar; Go into the playlist you want to remove a song from, and at the top of the screen, above the start of the playlist, you should see an Edit button, which you should double-tap. After that, find the song you want to delete, then use the actions rotor to find Delete and double-tap that. After double-tapping Delete in the rotor, go back to the top of the screen where you found the Edit button to start with, and double-tap the Done button which is now there. The song will no longer be in the playlist but it should still stay on your phone. If these instructions don't work on IOS 10, I apologise: anyone else who is on IOS 10 can correct them below if necessary, although I hope they won't have to.

Assuming the method is the same in IOS 10 as in IOS 11
