I was reading the latest AppleVis Unlimited and seen an update for Dark Sky. I also seen that it was free. However, when I went to the app store, it's still showing that it's $4 USD. Can anyone confirm if it's free, or not?
Because if it's free, I might take it for a spin. Thank you very much in advance! :-)

Well, darn. When I got to the screen you get when you purchase something, it said $4 USD. in the price. O well, @ least I have Weather Gods. 😔☺️

You are indeed correct that it's still a paid app.
I wrongly thought that it went free when it was purchased by Apple. This was not the case.
And, despite the VoiceOver improvements in the latest update, I wouldn't recommend buying it as there is still much that's not accessible - for instance, two of the tabs on the bottom menu bar and the hourly forecasts for days other than the current one (which is revealed when double-tapping on a day, but is not ‘seen’ by VoiceOver).
My hope is that the latest update is a sign that full VoiceOver support is on the way.

O man. Then I'm glad it's not free so that I'm not tempted to spend money on it. Besides, even if I did, I'd still stay loyal to the Weather Gods. Because they're top-notch, especially when it comes to accessibility. Plus, I think they'd be angry with me if I didn't. lol 😉🤣
