Custom voiceover gestures

Hello. I have created a number of voiceover custom gestures that make navigating my old iPhone a bit easier for me. My question is, if I were to get a new phone, our custom gestures backed up to the cloud, so that I do not have to do them all over again on my new device. Or, are they backed up so that when a reset is necessary, the gestures do not have to be done over again. Thank you for any help that can be given on this matter.

Unfortunately, they are not backed up. Neither on a single device or between devices. I was disappointed to find out they didn't port over to my iPad by default.

Hi Matt, felt so happy to read your post on this form about the custom gestures. dont mind, I'm having couple of questions on customizing some of the gestures. previously, I was using android and recently, I swiched to i phone. also, I was using swipe up and swipe down gestures to move between the next and previous items. on the i phone gesture settings, I was trying to modify those left and right gestures, but, it got disabled and want to no how to replace them with new modifications. hope you will help me on this. thanks in advance.

Recently, one month back, I done a factory reset to my iPhone 13, I backed up every thing to the iCloud. When I setting up my iPhone 13 again with the previous backup. All my VoiceOver custom gestures came back to my device. I’m not sure about iPhone to the iPad. But in iPhone if you back up the device, all the settings will be available when you restore Da latest backup file.

When I got my iPhone 14 in January of this year, I did not have to re-do my custom gestures.
