Hi,
I'm curious what iOS apps people are using to read text-based RSS feeds these days? I admittedly haven't used RSS feeds as a source of content in a long while, but am thinking that's something I might want to revisit. Anyway, if you have a favorite RSS reader, I'd love to give it a try.

NetNewsWire
I'm currently using NetNewsWire. It's freely available on macOS and iOS / iPadOS and has a very simple user interface. If you wish, all subscriptions are synced across your devices through iCloud. However, the configuration is not that convenient in my opinion. Once it's set up, all works fine, though.
Lire
Hi,
I'm using Lire, which also have apps for both iOS/iPadOS & MacOS.
Like NetNewsWire, you can sync your subscriptions between devices with iCloud, or just use one of the many sync services they both support.
Lire, All the Way!
Hey Steve!
I use Lire to sync with The Old Reader service for RSS content. This way, I can read on iOS or the computer, and everything is kept up to date.
Another Recommendation for Lire
Hi, Steve. Like others in this thread I highly recommend Lire. The app is not free but it is well worth the few dollars the developer charges. It contains features which are specific to VoiceOver, allowing you to choose what fields in the article view get spoken and which ones do not. Lire can be configured to download your feeds from several third party feed reader services or from its own. There are pros and cons for choosing any of these options. Like @Rachel Ramos I also use it with TheOldReader.com. I pay $6 a month for my TheOldReader.com account due to the amount of feeds I'm subscribed to. Prior to using that service I used Feedly. Feedly seems a lot nicer in locating feeds from your search terms whereas TheOldReader isn't quite as flexible. However, as Rachel pointed out the benefit of using a third party service is that I can add feeds via the service's Web interface, which I like.
Thank you, this is all super helpful.
Just a quick thanks to everyone who took the time to respond, I really appreciate it. I also hadn't heard of The Old Reader or any services like it, so will definitely check them out as well. Thanks again.
