Hi. I was intrigued with the new Focus functionality, in IOS 16. Examples include having a Work Focus, that brings up a Home Screen with relevant work apps. It caused me to ask the question- how might I create additional pages, for Home Screen apps? At the moment, if I have too many apps to fit on one page, a new page is created. Is there a way to intentionally create new page(s), with the ability to move desired apps to them, or do I just need to have all apps available and then start swapping them from page to page, until I get the desired effect? Any thoughts are much appreciated.

You will need to do the latter—install all of the apps required, then move them from page to page. There isn't a way to create a page intentionally, otherwise users would run into the issue where blank pages are made for no reason.
