Could someone who uses voice-over with an iPad help me check a problem with the YouTube app?

I'm having a really frustrating issue on YouTube when I use my iPad with voice-over, but I don't know if it's just me or if its a general problem.
It's strange because I thought it had been solved for a short time, but it seems to have come back again.
Interestingly, the problem only occurs on my iPad, the iPhone version of the app seems fine so I was wondering if anyone uses an iPad with voice-over who could help me to see if it's just my device or if it's a real problem.

The problem is this, I like to watch long YouTube videos on my device and sometimes I want to fast forward to certain points, are used to be able to do this by double tapping and holding on the track slider but seems to work for me.
There also was another solution, double tapping and holding on the length of the video which would allow me to skip backwards and forwards across the video, but that doesn't seem to work either.
