Hi, I would like to be able to control for example winamp on my pc whilst at the other side of the room. Has anyone found any accessible app that can be used as a wireless keyboard? there are some free ones in Itunes which I came across whilst looking for the Itunes remote app but it looks like you need to install some software on your PC to be able to use them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've tried the following Touch mouse app which seems to work in a basic way. It is made by Logitech and you have to install the server software on your PC to get it to work. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/touch-mouse/id338237450?mt=8# The app comes with a wireless mouse and a basic wireless keyboard. The keyboard is the basic Iphone one so it is a bit tricky to navigate around with in windows especially as there is no tab key that I can find. It has three extra buttons though which are the control, alt and windows keys. To perform a keystroke like Control + J, you have to press double tap on the control key and then double tap j. you then have to double tap on the control key again to unselect it. Jaws isn't reading out what I'm typing and the iphone makes a ding soubnd as if I've made a mistake but it does seem to be typing from the initial testing I've done.
I've just tried another wireless keyboard / mouse app called Hippo remote pro and that seems better than touch mouse. It has the arrow keys, along with the function keys etc found on a normal keyboard and you get customised remotes for certain programs for example when you're in winamp so you can play or pause etc by pressing the buttons on the remote shown on your iPhone. It seems mostly accessible to me though not messed with it much yet apart from in winamp. Also I like another app called StreamToMe which can stream music and video content from your PC to your phone. It is accessible with voiceover apart from not reading the time elapsed and remaining values. This is the only app I've come across that can stream and play both video and music content. You need to download server apps onto your PC / mac for these to work and make sure to let your firewall let them connect to your iphone apps.
