Confused! Using sleep focus

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how to use sleep focus? Ever since iOS17 my sleep focus has stopped working. It seems to go via the health app now for some very odd reason. I set up start time and end time. Selected what I want to still come through but unfortunately, that is as far as I get in terms of it actually working. Seems to be turned on but I still receive notifications from all apps all night. At the moment therefore I have to turn the phone volume down to zero which is not ideal. Any ideas? The health app is in my library and not on a home screen if that makes a difference but I have no idea how to move it back to a home screen. Dragging it is proving impossible.

The sleep focus, like other focus items, can be manually toggled on/ offf from Control Center. In the Control Center, locate the Focus option, swipe down and double tap on Show control. Select the desired focus, e.g., Sleep and do the Home or Scrub gesture to come out. This should work if all else have failed.

Another possible way is to manage sleep schedule via the Clock app. The first item under Alarm is the Sleep alarm. If you click the option to change the Sleep alarm, it will take you exactly at the position of the health app where you may toggle and manage the schedule.

Whether the Health app is in the library or on the Home screen shouldn't matter. Hth.

Ok will try the control center option. Interestingly, I do get a notification when it is due on to let me know it has turned on so I think it maybe as Oliver says VO again errrrgg.

When I first set this up, it was called do not disturb. You can set this up from a certain hour at night until a specific hour in the morning. I have never had trouble with this.
