Closing a floating window with VoiceOver iOS18.4

I'm using the Dexcom G7 app (continuous glucose monitoring) with a sensor attached to the body for monitoring my bloodsugar.
When I change some settings in the app, a floating window is coming from the bottom of the IPhone. I cannot find any button in the floating window to close it. I was wondering how to close the floating window with VoiceOver ON.
I tried to swipe left or right with 1 finger and with 2. I tried to swipe from bottom to top with 1 finger and with 2. I tried the Z- and the N-sign on the screen with 1 and 2 fingers.
None of my tries helped. I have to turn off VoiceOver and swipe down the floated window and then turn VoiceOver again ON.
So, the floating window comes out of the blue from the bottom on the screen. When you want to close it, you have to take the top of the window and swipe down to the bottom of the screen.

Hope anybody who can help me to close the screen with VoiceOver ON.

Roughly I mean, I'm not asking for medical info. I'm using it too, so if you can tell me what I'm looking for and how to make it show up, I can try to check it out. My wife's sighted so if there's somesort of weirdness going on, she can take a look at it, in case VO isn't telling us about something.

@Khomus, wow, never had the feeling somebody know the Dexcom G7 app! **laugh**
Ok. If you open the app you will see the current value and below a graphic. On the y-axis (vertical line of the graphic on the right side of the screen) you will see 3 dots (...).
When you click on these dots, the floating window will appear (coming out of the bottom of the screen). In that screen you can change the alerts of the Dexcom G7 app. When you change or change not a value, you need to hide or close that alert screen.

Without VoiceOver you can do to click and hold on the small horizontal line on top of the floating window and to swipe down.

With VoiceOver enabled I have no idea to close it. There seems no close button or cross or what else. Hope you can help me...

Also pitty that you cannot consult the previous bloodsugar values with VoiceOver in the graphic, or do you have another manner of working to consult previous bloodsugar levels or to make an interpretation of the history of the bloodsugar levels (or interpretation of the graph)

Thx

There are tabs across the bottom of the screen. You can change alert settings in those. The thing you're getting to shows up by tapping the "more" button, and there is no way to close it without turning off Voiceover. But you can get the same options by picking the profile tab and choosing alerts.

I don't do much with the history. Supposedly you can export data into a spreadsheet from either the Clarity app or website or both, but I haven't looked into it. But if you want that kind of data, that should be a pretty simple way of getting at it.

Yeah @Khomus, that's it. You can change those values also in the profile settings menu! Thanks for that.

Indeed, I can export the data to a spreadsheet. But for a quick analysation of the last hour of last 2 hours it's difficult to do it that way. But I agree and appreciate the tips you gave!

By the way, I heard that Be My Eyes has launched a Windows version of their Be My AI. You can let describe your desktop, screen, photo's on the screen,... by the Be My Eyes application for Windows. You can find it on their website.

The DexCom Clarity app, which is a companion app to the DexCom series of glucose monitors, might help you with what you're looking for. Check it out at the link below.

Also, not sure if you are aware of this or not, but with the DexCom app open, turning your phone into landscape mode will give you some additional options.

HTH.
