Hi all,
So, I'm not sure why, or how, but recently a rocket exploded in my head.
This rocket, happened to be holding one passenger, and it's called an idea.
Well, this idea, is something I think could be done.
For those who have tried Instagram, accessibility really needs improvement, especially with navigation.
Well, I thought, there's Twitterrific isn't there?
So, why not contact the developers of the fully accessible Twitter client, Twitterrific, and see if an accessible Instagram client could be made.
Such as Insterrific or something. Do you guys think we could all contact the devs and see what can be done?
Because, honestly, I feel like all my friends have moved to this social network, and Twitter seems less used ∮ days.
If you guys thin we should have this we should all try and contact devs and see if this is a possibility.
Thanks!

Unfortunately
Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, doesn’t really allow third-party applications access to their API like Twitter does. If you haven’t heard, even twitter has been pulling this back for years. Facebook wants total control of their clients and that will never change. So I had no choice but to leave Instagram two years ago when they initially made it suck way more with VoiceOver. Your best bet is lobbying Facebook/Instagram to get their act together.
Instagram's accessibility improved
Hi there, you should check Instagram out again, there was an update not Long ago that made it a bit more accessible. The camera Screen was not accessible at all, VO bugged and crashed. Now you can take a photo directly from the main Screen of the insta app by pressing the vol Buttons. The 4-finger-taps work again too without insta changing Screens. For me it works quite well, and I don't really see the Need for a third Party instagram Client. After all I don't think it is that easy to make that client. There are lenses and filters and all this stuff, you can draw things... twitter is much easier than insta and I don't think twitterific would do it. You can still try though.
