situation:

I wanted to change the city in the clock widget , the one where you have the world clock. I cannot do this as it always defaults to cooperteeno. I tried the following

  • adding the widget to a stack and changing the time there. No go, I had to remove the stack instead of removing the widget.
  • adding the widget separately and trying to change the city there. No go..
question:

Was there a way to do this with out all of this trouble? I work in a different time zone than mine and kind of need that showing on my screen. Also if I decide I don't' want that widget later can I remove it from the stack I have without removing the stack?

What you're looking for in both cases is the context menu. Find the widget, either in a stack or not, and triple tap on it. There you'll see a menu that lets you edit the clock widget. If it's in a stack, it says edit clock. If it's by itself it says edit widget.

Anyway, tap that and you can edit the city. That context menu is also where you'll find edit stack, which should let you remove and rearrange widgets in stacks.

Although that worked, it does not say the ocuntry wherein the city is located which sucks. I had to guess, and luckily I guessed correctly. I'll have to play with this. I was close when doing this, thanks so so much. It's time for me to go to work, but at least I can keep an eye on the time in the ocuntry where my job is.
