Hi all, subject says it all. My current voicemail greeting says that I am working out and will be back in my apartment shortly. I'm wondering how to change that now using the new layout in the iOS phone app. I pretty much work out all the time these days, lol. However, I've gotten requests to change that message. Tia for anyone's help and take care. Btw, I no longer have a land-line phone due to cutting the cord a few years back.

Hi,

Here's how I did it.

Open the phone ap.

Tap the filter button.

Next, pick Voicemail from the drop down.

After that, pick and tap on Edit.

You should then find the option to change your greeting by either picking Siri's Default, or by recording a new personal greeting.

I hope this helps.

If the new layout is giving you a hard time, you can always do it the old-fashioned way. Open your phone app, double tap on the keypad tab, double tap and hold on the 1 button for a second or two, and it will automatically dial into your voicemail system. From there followed the voice prompts to do things like changing your personal greeting, etc.

HTH.

1. Open the phone app & activate the keypad tab
2. Dial your number
3. The call button is near the bottom of the screen, double-tap there.
4. When prompted, enter your password
5. choose the option to record a new greeting
6. press # to save once you're happy with it
