Can't use my own library with Google Play Music

Hey everyone,

I recently decided to move my 5,800-song library into the cloud to save space on my hard drive and play my music on multiple devices. I went with Google Play Music since it's free to upload and I thought I could use it on my phone, PC, and Google Home. But alas...

I am using an iphone 6 with iOS 10.3.3, and the Google Play Music app crashes constantly whenever I try to use it, particularly in the genre and artist tabs. The albums tab works most of the time, and I can search for specific songs, but everything else makes it crash. Meanwhile, I've also learned that the Google Home won't play from an uploaded library without a music subscription.

Is anyone else having trouble with Google Music? I'm not sure if it's a Voiceover issue. Any other cloud players for my own library with plenty of free space? Thanks for your help.
