iOS and iPadOS
Hi. I don't know if this is some kind of focus issue in iOS 6, but since last night, I've not been able to search for any apps in the app store via my iPod touch 4th gen. Here's exactly what I'm doing so we're all on the same page here.
1. I launch the app store in the usual way.
2. I swipe to the search tab, find the edit box and type in the app I'd like to search for, and hit the search button. As we can tell all is ok so far.
3. Here's where the trouble starts...no matter what I search for, I don't see any kind of search results, or even a message saying your search couldn't be completed, please try again later. All I'm able to get to are the other tabs like featured, charts, genius, search which is selected, and updates. I've tried the suggestions others have given when dealing with difficulties with the app store, i.e. remove it from the app switcher and re-launch it, i've even tried shutting the iPod down, restarting it and even rebooting it with the home and power buttons, but nothing works. Anyone got any ideas on this one? I am completely stumped. Wonder if apple did something screwy again? If someone knows how to help me get search results back I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
