I’ve been hearing a lot about people switching fronm X to Blue Sky, so I’m wondering if the app is accessible? Also, is the Threads app accessible?

The blue sky app interface is clunky with voiceover.
The website is more accessible in my opinion.
Threads is accessible

Definitely lots of room to improve but they are getting better.

They added a setting to require alt text before posting, which I immediately turned on.

Couple of things...

If you want to use a mastodon app for BlueSky you can use something called:

https://skybridge.fly.dev

It's not perfect, a work in progress according to the get hub, but makes the BlueSky less clunky.

Skeets, available on IOS is quite good too though needs to mature.

Finally, if you wish to scrape your X follows onto BlueSky use the chrome plug in:

And, follow me too. OliverKennett

As for threads, it's too clunky for me and meta besides.

I wish someone made a cross poster for blue sky twitter threads and mastodon. so it can get easier to flock from one place to the other... as its evident we'll be doing it for now. i miss the old twitter.
TWBlue also stopped working randomly out of nowhere
i miss it too

@Khushi there is something close. Croissant is a new app that lets you cross post to Bluesky, Threads, and Mastodon. I asked one of the devs about accessibility support and they said they'd be happy to get a TestFlight invite to anyone that wants to give feedback on what they can improve.

For a computer I have never used it but I have seen a post on social media about how micro.blog can do it.

Here's what their website says: "Cross-posting to Mastodon, Bluesky, Threads, and more
Micro.blog can automatically copy your blog posts to many popular services. Post to your blog first, where you have more control over your content, then let Micro.blog send a copy everywhere."
