Good afternoon. I have been using Youversion to read the Bible on my iPhone. I updated to the latest version the other day and now I am not able to find the search box to search for a reference or key word. Is there another accessible Bible app anyone would recommend? Thank you.

Hello Sarah: I have several things on my iPhone that give me the Bible including YouVersion. I, too, am having some issues with the new update. I would suggest you try these: 1. Blue Letter Bible. This will give you access to multiple reading plans, although you have to work at it a bit. . 2. Grand Rapids First. This is the First Assemblies of God's app from Grand Rapids, MI. Although this is a specific churches app, there is a Bible tab, which gives you the current and several passed dates right at your fingertips. Although it doesn't specify so, this app is using the Chronological reading plan. It's the same as the YouVersion plan that I'm using. This second app is extremely user-friendly in the Bible tab area. The bonus is that you can have more in the app from their church should you wish to. Hope this helps you out some.

I really like the blue letter Bible app, because when you click on the verse number it gives you options to look up commentaries, dictionaries, and concordances.

You can roll back to the previous version of the YouVersion Bible app using iTunes if you haven't synced your apps since the update. There is an AppleVis podcast on how to do this. ***AppleVis Editorial Team Note: The podcast may be found at http://www.applevis.com/podcast/episodes/app-roll-backs-how-reinstall-previous-version-ios-app.***
