Best way to search for apps for iPhone

Hello all,
When looking for an app for my iPhone what is the best way to search? I am using the app store on my phone but this is extremely frustrating. When in a list of search results I will go into an apps description to check out reviews and such. Next when I back out of the apps description I am always put back at the top of the list. This makes it very frustrating since I then have to flick thru all the apps again to get back to where I was. I also tried using iTunes on my Windows PC but could not find a way to actually search for apps. Any help is appreciated. I am using JAWS16 and NVDA 2015.2 on a Windows 8.1 laptop.

Greg:

the fallacy in your question is that first word: "best". the best way to search is the one that's best for you. For the record, I do searches the same way you do and considder it a minor nuisance that you have to twiddle around a bit to get to the next search item.

There's also that Braille Institute app -- I forget its name -- which claims to recommend the most accessible apps. but since I'm not sure how often its database is updated, I've deleted it from my phone.
