I have my Iphone 8+ for over 2 years, my battery maximum Capacity is 87%, my peak performance is ok, but there is something that eats all my battery power, it stays for just 6 hours or less, without youtube videos or something, just browsing, and all my regular activity, so, what may cause this? and does anyone have the same issue?

Go for a new battery or it will be downhill from here. The alternative is to upgrade to a newer iPhone.

There are issues with iOS 14.01 and battery. Apple suggest that you do a factory reset but wait for iOS 14.1 it suppose to fix the battery issue.

If you haven't tried this, try restarting your device. That has helped some people with this issue.

Maybe today after the event? Apple tend to release iOS after the event but it might be close to the time they sale the iPhone 12.

After moving to my new iPhone SE 2020, I experimented with the Optimize Battery Charging setting. I discovered that when it's enabled, my battery drains even when the phone is idle. For example, going from 57% charged before I go to bed at night, to 17% charged when I wake up in the morning. If I turn off Optimize Battery Charging, the issue goes away. This is with iOS 14.2.

I hope others will try this, to verify.
