Hello,
Is there a way to rewind or fast forward by a quantity greater than 5 seconds which happens too be the default? Sometimes I wish to hear a a chunk that I enjoyed and I find it frustrating to hit the 'Rewind 5 seconds' many times. I could go to the previous item but that is way too far back.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Rewind & Fastforward
To fast forward or rewind more than the 5 seconds, double tap and hold while the book is moved. the longer the tap is held, the more the jump moves. I believe it goes from 20 seconds,1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes and so on. Similar to the time frames you can jump on the BARD stand-alone player when holding those buttons.
Or, I don't know if it's
Or, I don't know if it's supported, but you could use the 3D touch feature on your device and find the rewind/fastforward buttons.
I don't believe 3d touch is supported
I don't believe 3d touch is supported but it sure is an interesting idea. Yep, just double-tap and hold on the rewind and fast forward buttons and VoiceOver will announce how far ahead, or back, you're jumping. the longer you hold the button down, the faster it rewinds or fast forwards.
Just gave it a go. 3D touch
Just gave it a go. 3D touch works perfectly on my end for rewinding/fast forwarding your books.
Thank you all
I am a happy BARDer now, thanks to you all. I have to give the 3D touch a go though.
Alternative
There is also an adjustable slider to rewind and fast forward through the book. If you double tap and hold it and drag up or to the right, it should work. Or dragging down or left.
didn't know about hold and drag
Thanks for the tidbit on holding & dragging. Didn't know you could do that!
Adjustable Time r
In the BARD app, the adjustable time slider reports the current position in the book. A one-finger flick up or down will jump by 10%, at least that's what I seen in my demo. This picker item is the same style that is seen in the Apple Music player on the phone. Works quite efficiently, if you fall asleep in the book; but, be careful because it may go much further through the book than desired. The double tap and hold on the forward/rewind buttons might just get you to the location in your book more effectively.
