Hello,
So, for years I have used either Goldwave on Windows, or Amadeus Pro on Mac. I have recently acquired a super cheap windows laptop, and if I have to use Goldwave, I can, but with only 4 gb ram (not upgradable) that might not be the most positive experience. I have a new iPad pro coming tomorrow. So, I'm looking for similar apps on the iPad. I took a brief look at Hokusai 2 on my iPhone yesterday, and it is indeed accessible, though I could see it taking me a bit to get to the point of being proficient. I will be using whatever app I choose for production of radio programs. I have someone who weekly sends me the spoken part of their program, which is a spoken word program, about an hour long. So, I have to be able to create first the bed, including intro, background music, and outro, then paste in the spoken word content, fading the background while doing so. Sometimes, if the person has something come up, they will have to send me multiple recordings I have to trim and merge so as to make one longer audio track. So, any audio editor I choose should be able to do these things well. If they also happen to have keyboard commands, that would be even better!
So, what is everyone here using? Any demos or audio tutorials for these apps? Would love to hear from someone who does do a good amount of their editting on the iPad.
