Audio ducking causes VoiceOver speech delay when connected to AirPods and  media is playing

When connected to AirPods and audio ducking is turned on, there is a pretty noticeable delay between touch input on screen and voiceover verbal response.
It seems that voiceover will first lower the volume of the media that is playing, and then after 2-3 seconds, will begin speaking out the touch input.
This can cause severe delays in the utilization of an iPhone with AirPods and VoiceOver enabled while media is running.

One. Enable voiceover screen reader and ensure that iPhone is connected to AirPods.

To. Go to settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, audio, and turn audio ducking on.

Three. Play any media whether it is music or a video on YouTube or Netflix etc.

Four. While the media is playing, touch any part of the screen.

5. The initial touch will not have a voiceover response until 2- three seconds have passed. This is because the media audio is first lowered and then  voiceover
speaks.

The user is using an iPhone 13 Pro on 15.1 with AirPods three. The same issue has been noticed with AirPods Pro. This is not typical behavior.

Turn VoiceOver on and off a good three times gets rid of this for some reason. It is not consistent. It does happen when playing music or something. It’s like VoiceOver just engages incorrectly and when it gets turned off it comes back better.
