By any chance have you misspelled the app's name?

The only β€œAudacy” I could find in the App Store was for managing a wireless lighting system, and something made me think that this might not be the app you are asking about ☺️

Hi, there!

2 things

1. Dalia, I had the same issue when I heard about the app and went hunting for it. :-)
Don't remember how I found it, though I suspect Siri searched Google, found the website and I was able to find the app there. :-)

2. I didn't find it very accessible. I downloaded this app after I heard my local news and talk station was on there. Plus, I love hearing about new music and radio apps. :-)

But, I found a lot of unlabeled buttons, and it was hard to navigate the screen. That's just naming a couple. Then, once I got a program to play, I couldn't find the pause/stop button and couldn't use the magic tap for it either. The magic tap thing isn't in of itself a dealbreaker for me. I've got a couple apps, one completely accessible, and one that's accessible, but, you have to have tolerance and patience with it, and find the workarounds for the issues, that the magic tap does not work in. But, I also got the feeling that there were other programs and content in the app that voiceover couldn't find.

If someone on here can say it's accessible, please do. Because I might be open to giving it another shot. I'd even be open to working with issues if I have to. As you can tell from my story above, I have patience, and, to a certain degree, tolerance when it comes to issues and working around them. To a certain degree.

I'll make yours and every one's lives easier by posting the link for this app in this comment. :-)

Here's the link for the app, and it is free.

I hope that link helps give clarification. And, I'm sorry that I had to bring you such disappointing news about an app. :-( I really do hate to be the bearer of bad news, especially when it comes to stuff like this. But, like I said, if anyone on here thinks I'm wrong, then please chime in!

Ah, okay, so it was indeed misspelled if you are correct with what app it might be.

I've not used this app, and to be frank it's not something that grabs my interest. Still a shame to hear of the issues, though ☹️

Yeah, it has a weird spelling to it. And we all know how autocorrect is with weird spellings of things. :-)

Like I said, I hate being the bearer of bad news on this stuff. I'd rather be able to either say that an app supports voiceover, or that there are issues, but it's still usable.
Also, I'd be happy if someone on here could comment and tell me I'm wrong and there's issues but they can be dealt with. This app sparked my interest because that's one of the main things I love doing with my Ipad is listening to music. I've got about 9 or so music apps in one folder, and 48 radio apps in another folder. Add to that, that I heard that the radio news station for my area was on there now. That's how I heard about it. Needless to say, I'm all for any way to keep up with my news and weather radio station, and, if I find more great content and stations in the process, then for me, that's a bonus!
