Hey everyone. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. I’m hopefully getting all my teeth out in a month or so. So I’m looking for suggestions for an app I can use that will let me type something, and have the app speak what I’ve typed. I’m really thankful for any Help in advance

Hi. Thank you for your reply. I’m not entirely familiar with what you were talking about, although I’ve heard of it. Unfortunately though, it might not be as accurate. Because what I’m wanting to do is have my boyfriend on one device on FaceTime so he can speak. Then I write out my reply and read it back to him. Almost as though I was talking, but really I’m getting the phone to do it for me. Thanks for your assistance though

Could you maybe use a writing app such as Voice Dream Writer, to type out what you withant to say, then scroll up and swipe down with 2 fingers for continuous reading? Or maybe if you're using Voice Dream you could do a magic tap and have the voice you've set read your typed response.
Might not be ideal, but @ least you wouldn't have to download another app, or pay for one.
Use the Translate App
You can use the Translate app to do this. Simply translate from English to English. I just tried it, and it works perfectly.

an iPad that works very with VoiceOver is verbally. it is marketed to those who cannot speak, but works well with VoiceOver. it's an iPad app. the free version has the basic functionality and you get suggested words a keyboard you can type on what you want to say. the premium offers functionality to repeat what is said, and email from the app. if you have questions, just post a comment on this post.
