I have been using Apple Music Classical since it was launched late last month. So far, I have found it to be fully accessible with VoiceOver, which is very encouraging for an initial release.
Its features are quite impressive. Apple's Music app has always been problematic for serious art music listeners, due to the inadequacy of the available metadata and the lack of features designed for browsing and searching multi-movement works, finding different recordings of the same work, or indeed browsing by composer, conductor, performers, etc. Apple Music treats every track as a "song", and has never been customized for the needs of art music listening.
Apple Music classical solves these problems. It was developed following Apple's acquisition of Primephonic, of which I was a subscriber at the time. However, Primephonic's app had significant shortcomings for VoiceOver users, which are now remedied in its successor.

I love the classicle music app
As you mentioned in the post, the app is very much accessible and we can use it as we would use Apple Music. I am a classical head, so this is a safe haven for me when it comes to the classical music listening experience.
I particularly like
Renaissance Essentials, and being able to select music based on instrument. Bravo!
