Hello
When app updates appear within the App Store on my iPhone, I received the app name, followed by the app update information and then the fraze: "3 days ago" or: 5 days ago." Is there a setting somewhere where app updates can be shown and downloaded quicker? Thanks in advance.

App updates
Yes, there is a way to have them download automatically, however sometimes you do need to check the app Stor-just in case. What you’ll need to do is: go to the Settings app, either scroll down to iTunes and app Stor or click on your name at the top, then go to iTunes/app store, it will say under your Apple ID and whether you can use prints for downloads, lower it will say automatic updates, check to make sure you have which settings you want on on. Hope the info helps.
Staggered updates
I was once told that iOS and app updates are staggered over time, so not everyone gets a new release at the same time. This helps cut down on the server load, especially after a major iOS update, and it also helps minimize problems if a new version has a major bug in it, since the bad version can be pulled before too many people get it.
If you learn about a new version of a particular app and want to update it right away, you can do so. Go to the app updates screen and see if it’s listed there. If not, do a three-finger swipe down to refresh the content, and it should show up then. For iOS updates, go to Settings, then General, then Software Update to see if there’s a new version available.
