Whenever I’m on a website like Apple vis or reddit and I try to post a comment, double tapping the post or save button doesn’t seem to do anything.
Double tapping oaaaaaaaather buttons doesn’t have any effect either, sometimes I have to reload the page before I can post the comment.
Is anyone else facing this problem.

I’m not sure if I’ve had the same issue you’re talking about, but I might have. Dry scrole until you find a next or the done button. That should get you out of the text field, and make it so the save button will work. I’m not sure if this is the problem you’re having, or about something different, but it’s the only thing I can suggest.

If you enter an edit field to write a comment and cannot get out of it, then look for the done button above it. It is always to the right above the text field.
loss of focus bug or the edit field bug
IOS 12 brought the nonentry bug for some text entry fields. If this is the cause, entering text elsewhere on the page, then posting the text you want, and delete few unwanted text.
If it is the loss of focus bug, turning voiceover off/on usually fixes problem. I have had poor results using SIRI for this.

And a possible solution.
As far as I can tell, the problem is that when I move my finger away from the text edit field, the cursor still remains within the edit box so to deal with this problem, I simply click the hide keyboard button.
A little bit inconvenient perhaps, but it works. q
reset
Try performing a reset. I'm not sure which phone you have but if it's an X or later it's quite hard to do so I would recommend just shutting the phone down entirely. If you still have a home button, hold that and the side button for a few seconds and it should reset and no data will be lost. Sometimes I have that issue too when double tapping on anything doesn't work and that usually does the trick.
