Is anybody still on iOS 15 or on iOS 16 or uses a device that isn’t compatible with iOS 15 or iOS 17. If so, how do you like it. Do you think your experience is better on the other version or would be better on iOS 17 with a newer device.

iOS and iPadOS

Subject says it all. I still have an iPhone 6s Plus that’s rocking well on iOS 15.7.9. It came to me running iOS 15.7.3 the earlier this morning it automatically updated to iOS 15.7.9. On the other hand, I have an iPad sixth generation which one’s iOS 17. Attention was running a version of I think iOS 11 or something I don’t know.

I have an iPhone 7. I guess I should power it up and get the update. I'm considering mounting it near the top of the ladder I go up when I throw bird seed across my patio roof. I want to get some cool, close, close, closeup video and pictures of the feasting doves and maybe even some of the feral parrots and other birds. Auto focus is a life changer. I'll use a bluetooth keyboard and headphones because they won't land if I'm in sight, and the old phone because it'll make me a little less nervous about the phone getting whacked with a wing in the frenzy. Other than that, the battery's pretty bad, and I don't use it.

iPhone SE2. Running iOS 16.6.1. I refuse to update this iPhone to 17. Am holding off on upgrading to a newer iPhone and iOS 17 until some bugs get worked out.
Having said that, I miss iOS 14 personally. 15 had a few "quirks" in it, including a really weird one where whenever I typed into any search field, I could "not" double tap the search button, if, there were search suggestions available. Like maybe the suggestions were an overlay that blocked the button. 🤷🏻‍♂️
