Any suggestions on Blue Sky clients/ways of using it that aren't laborious?

Hi,

Looking at the jump from X to blue sky, not because I'm particularly political but because it would seem those I follow are, and need to work out how it all works.

I had a look and, like threads, it seems every post is made up of several elements, the poster, the post itself, the time, like button, reply button, etc which is just a bit of a pig to navigate. Despite everything, the unified posts on X are great for us, just a shame the client on mac is horrific, and spring is flaky... Oh, and all the people I follow have jumped ship.

thoughts? I did try Mastadon but found the whole onboarding thing really difficult, finding people, finding if people are on there... etc. And, again, I prefer to avoid political and Mastadon does seem to be diometrically apposed to the ethos of twitter, which gets a bit tiring from both sides. I just want info on the weird little hobbies I have and maybe to laugh once in a while. Ha.

Thoughts? Feelings?

Well, I do know for Bluesky, you can use the Skeets app. That seems to be easier to use than the native app.

O, I should've mentioned that skeets is on iOS. Not sure what to use for mac as I don't own one.

Skeets is good, although it can be improved when it comes to voiceover usage.
