I'm a somewhat new iPhone user and just switched to it as my primary device. I'm looking for apps that might help me with managing or creating a better routine for myself since I have horrible time management and executive functioning skills and was curious if anyone here had similar experiences and could share some ideas. I know visual schedules can be helpful for autistic people, and I've seen apps like those recommended in articles about autism, but I figured they're probably not accessible.

Stop worrying about accessibility
Hi. accessibility is many different things to many different people. what i may find great to use, you being a novice user might find it harder to work. I'll say this, if you go onto the app store searching for say schedule, you'll find a ton of them. If you see the word "get" then install it. A lot of people ask about an app before testing it out. when an app doesn't cost money, my feeling is what are you waiting for? Get a grip and show some initiative. Saying all of that, I'd just keep finding apps and see what works for you. I don't have any recommendations for you. Just explore your phone. If you get an app that asks for a subscription, you can cancel it. Or if the app doesn't work for you, though some disagree, ask for a refund. Not sure why more people don't. I've done a lot of themand it works just fine. good luck.
I look all the time for accessible apps
I look all the time by downloading apps without knowing if they'll be accessible, but I also thought there was no harm in asking. I've also already had a couple experiences with refund requests being rejected, one of which was for an app that was almost $30 USD, a lot of money for me.
Siobhan I gotta say that's…
Siobhan I gotta say that's not a very helpful response. It's perfectly reasonable to come to the forum and ask for recommendations in a particular category or type of app.
If Lanie had found a specific app, and that app was free, and instead of downloading it they had asked if it's accessible, you might have a bit of a point, but to describe what kind of app you are looking for and ask for recommendations is exactly the kind of thing this forum is for.
I hope you find what you're looking for Lanie.

Todoist
I just started using this app and it's become a productivity essential. The iOS app is accessible with VoiceOver and Todoist is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS, among other operating systems. The free version lets you create tasks to be due at certain dates/times and sort these tasks into projects and add sub-tasks/comments/different priority levels. The app allows you to view all the tasks due on any given date and has a widget you can put on your homescreen that displays all the tasks due today as well as a quick way to add a task in a few clicks. Reminders for tasks at certain times are only available in the paid version (I believe it's called Todoist Pro), which is a $4/month subscription. Hope this helps.
Todoist Is fully accessible on all platforms where it is availab
Hi,
I’m going to give a plus one for Todoist. I’m a college student, and did not really have an easy way of keeping track of assignments for my classes, prior to using this application. In addition to the operating systems mentioned, you can also use this program with Amazon Alexa and Siri.
As the subject line states, the program is accessible on all platforms where it is available.
I pay monthly for the pro version, and don’t regret it one bit.
