Hi All
My friend from India and I were wondering, are there any brain training apps or web sites we can use, Especially logic puzzles, memory and maths improvement programmes.
Thanks very much
No app but just do math in your head. Divisions, multiplication and adding big numbers. I do this to check my skill without having to use an app or calculator. Also helps my memory and ability to use my brain. Bella the cat does not want to help so I do so. 9 plus 10 minus 1 times 4. Things like this help.
Duolingo Math Is accessible it is in the App Store. It’s by the same folks that create the language learning app, which I highly recommend as well and yes, I tested the app for accessibility before it’s released to the public in the store for accessibility and give them my feedback regarding voiceover.
A long time after this was originally asked, but perhaps useful. This is an app with logic grid puzzles, sometimes known as zebra puzzles. This puzzle type is often cited in brain training / exercise.
I'm the indie developer that makes this puzzle game and I previously worked with one person who said she was blind to improve the app for her (and hopefully others who did not get in touch). We had tried hard to make the app work well with Apple's VoiceOver and she gave us some tips to improve it further.
I'm currently adjusting our Acrostics app to improve it as well. It used to be possible "with a little maneuvering", as she said, but in some cycle of Apple iOS and app updates, accessibility via VoiceOver is currently broken.
Happy to hear feedback on how to improve the logic grid puzzles app in case anyone tries it.
You do not need to get an app to do so. Just do simple things to help. I still do multiplications and divisions in my head. I also see how many president I can remember going from now to the past. Play with my memory to see if I can recall all the States.

chess
You could try chess. Its more in the logic and strategy side of things, but yeah.

Accessible Math Match
Accessible Math match was released for IOS late last year and is a fun game with difficulty levels.
