Hi, is there any free applications for reading screenshots? You upload the screenshot and it tells you what's writin here. Something like this? And I'm curious about a thing too. In my country there is something called caps, it's very famous. maybe you know it with a different name. For example think of justin bieber, someone founds a Picture of justin bieber crying and types "me after math exam" under the Picture, for example.
How can I read them? Voice over says "one person, text".
Is there any applications for that? I'm so sorry for my bad english

Hi. I'm not sure if any of these will be available for your country, but I've tried all of these and I love them. They are all free as well so price is not an issue. I'm sure that there are a lot more apps similar to these, and I'm pretty sure that this isn't a complete list. This is just a list of the ones I've tried and love.

1. Braigo Companion

This is my fkvorite app out of all of them. It has a permanent place in my dock on my ipad. You can either use another device to snap a pic of the screenshot and have it uploaded and recigonized on the spot, or you can save the image to your device, and upload it from your photo gallery. Or, (I have found this method less successful), you can copy the URL. from the image and paste it into Braigo.

2. Seeing AI.

This app is pretty knew to the scene, but it has the same ability. You can take a pic of the document or screenshot using the app and have it recigonized on the spot, or you can share the photo to the app after enabling it in your share sheet in the photos app. It has a document, Qr. code reader, scene disscription (still in beta) and another channel that I can't remember the name to off the top of my head. The best part of this app, is that it preserves much of the original formatting.

3. OCR Converts Photos To Text

This app is kind of knew but it's been out for a while. You can take a pic with the app and have it uploaded and recigonized on the spot, or you can give it access to your photo gallery, and upload the image to the app and go from there.

All of these apps are easy to use and 100% accessible. All of these apps have entries on here. And if the app is not in the ios. app directory, it's available in the forum.

I hope at least 1 if not all of these apps are available in your country because in my opinion, they are really wonderful apps. For being free, they work very well for OCR. I hope this helps you! Good luck!

Thank you so much! I have a book, for example, if I take a Picture of one of it's pages can I read what it says?

Yes, you can with these apps. They are also good for reading memes which is what you were talking about earlier with the Justin Bieber reference.

Just wanted this keyword in here, so other searches can find it. The comment about Braigo is great and deserves to be found when one types OCR in to the search.

Thank you so much for telling me about Braigo! It knowes all my favorite football players, I feel surprised when it says "Ricardo quaresma, smiling". Can I send a feedback to creaters of Braigo? If yes, how can I? Thank you again!
