Answering a phone call now the auto select is disabled

Subject line is clear as a bell. I stopped having the phone go to auto select, partially because the phone would sometimes not switch to speaker if I had it away from my ear. The main reason is I want the ability to hang up with the bower button. I still liked it on the top better then the side, I seem to pushit by accident. anyway how does the call work now? I answer it and what? Thx

I'm not sure I understand your question, but if your question is how to get the phonecall interface back in full screen, you can change this behaviour in settings>phone>incoming calls. Set it to "full screen", and it behaves as on iOS 13.

Hi Sorry I wasn't more clear. I disabled the autoselect, so that when an incoming call comes in, I think I can just use it like normal. But when I want to hang up, I can just press the side button and all is right in the world. I'll never get used to the whole magic tap. I feel stupid ever using it. So my question becomes, a call comes in. When I answer it, if the phone is pressed to my ear, I'm assuming it will be fine. I guess I'll just wait and see.

I assume it should be fine, yes. It should behave just like it did on iOS 13 as far as I know - the only thing that's changed is the notification style by default.
